From Jerry Mai 2021:
I enjoyed such a great time. The family and I enjoyed a beautiful built in pool while I bbq’d so we could eat under the rancho enjoying the sunset. The beach was literally 50 meters from the house and apparently there are a lot of surfing locations nearby that I didn’t know of which were cool. The 3 bedrooms and loft bedroom for the kids was great as well as we all had some space. It was delivered super clean and seemed like it was taken care of for once, not like other places I’ve rented here previously. The rental of the 4x4 came in pretty handy too since I didn’t have transportation really to get some supplies here and there. The people were super friendly and helpful that worked there. So I’m sure if you had any questions just ask.
From Kelly August 2020:
Everything about this place and my trip to Nicaragua exceeded my expectations. From the moment my family I arrived in Managua, until our departure nine days later, our experience at Casa Mira Flores made this trip the best vacation our family has had.Our hosts arranged for us to have a local guide named Lester, to meet us at the airport to navigate the city (including a grocery stop) and to direct us to Casa Mira Flores.Waking up to perfect weather every day! Listening to the ocean waves from the wading pool, birds chirping from morning till night. It was all great. The open concept of the space was great for entertaining and we really liked the big room. We cooked awesome meals for our family every night and made a point of never missing the sunset on the beach. It was spectacular. The support on the property from Diego, the property management, made travelling the surrounding countryside and knowledge of the local community a treat. We felt very safe and happy to be there. The recommendations from the host on neighbouring locations, restaurants, and activities added a lot of value to our social life. Surfing, Palapa Chilling and Thursday night poker at Mind the Gap, Hiking through the Eco-Centro del Bosque, swimming at playa Mira Flores, and market shopping in Masachapa were highlights. Another plus was the one day excursion to La Maquina where we had the entire waterfalls to ourselves, and went on nature hikes and marvelled at the zip-lining with an abundance of wildlife. We even did a little dirt biking! Our 5 children, ages 9, 11, 13, 14 and 17 were amazed at the way the locals lived, the spanish language, the roaming of pigs, cows, dogs, chickens. They saw kids crossing a big suspended bridge in uniform on there way to school. They saw mango, aguava, banana and coconut trees and sugar cane plantations.I can't say enough about Nicaragua. It was a wonderful experience and we want to go back.Five stars plus to Casa Mira Flores.
