Ticuantepe is a municipality in the department of Managua in the Republic of Nicaragua, founded in 1974. According to the 2020 Estimate, Ticuantepe had a population of 38,031 inhabitants and a population density of 625.6 people per km².

Name is probably derived from the Nahuatl Tetl-cua-tepetl (hill with wild beasts)
